Legal organizations
Organizations which specialize in Indian law on behalf of American Indians and Alaska Natives.

  • NABA-Net: Native American Bar Association: The only nationwide association composed of Native American and non-Indian attorneys, judges, legal assistants, court clerks, and law students interested in federal Indian law and legal issues affecting the Indian nations of the United States.
  • Native American Rights Fund (NARF): A nonprofit legal organization devoted to defending and promoting the legal rights of Native Americans and Native American tribes. NARF's web site is extensive.
