Suicide

  • Community Based Suicide Prevention Program: This is a program of the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) which assists smaller Alaska communities -- many of them predominately Alaska Native -- to develop and implement their own locally-designed projects to reduce self-destructive behavior and increase the health of individuals, families, and communities. This site includes basic information about suicide and suicide prevention, plus links to other sites providing such information.
