Alaska Natives Commission

The Joint Federal-State Commission on Policies and Programs Affecting Alaska Natives -- the Alaska Natives Commission, for short -- was created by Congress in 1990 at the urging of Alaska Native groups, and was jointly funded by the federal government and the State of Alaska.
