Prevention of youth crime & violence

  • Youth Violence and Suicide Prevention. National Center for Injury Prevention & Control, Centers for Disease Control. The CDC studies the problem of youth violence and suicide with the same kinds of public health tools applied to infectious diseases, chronic
    diseases, and occupational hazards. Its violence prevention activities focus on primary prevention of violence through a public health approach that complements traditional approaches used by other disciplines such as, criminal justice, education, and social services.
