Research organizations
- Alaska Judicial Council.
The Alaska Judicial Council is an independent state agency in
the judicial branch of government; established by the Alaska
Constitution, Article IV, Section 8 with a constitutional role
in the selection of new judges, the evaluation and retention
of current judges, and research into the administration of justice.

- Alaska Justice Statistical
Analysis Center. Part of the Justice Center, the SAU acts
as a clearinghouse for justice-related information, including
federal documents from U.S. Department of Justice agencies and
by conducting research on justice issues relevant to Alaska.
- Justice Center Research.
The Justice Center has contributed to the development of justice
administration in Alaska through research, education and community
service since 1975. Justice
Center products include books, papers, reports to public
agencies, and television and radio documentaries. The Justice
Center's quarterly publication, the Alaska
Justice Forum, permits the exchange of ideas in the justice
field.
