Newsletter, August 1994. About two workplace homicides per
year occurred in Alaska in the years 1980 to 1992, but in 1993
homicide was the third most frequent cause of occupational fatality,
with 11 deaths, after aircraft crash (23 deaths) and drowning
(20 deaths). This report summarizes the 10 incidents in 1993
that resulted in the 11 fatalities.
