Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) Jobs. ATF is an agency of the
U.S. Department of the Treasury. ATF Special Agents and numerous
support positions are recruited through the federal Office
of Personnel Management, though current

- Drug Enforcement
Agency (DEA) Employment Opportunities. Positions include
DEA Special Agents and support positions including Forensic Chemist,
Diversion Investigator, and Intelligence Research Specialist.

Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Employment. Positions include

positions, including crime scene experts, laboratory technicians,

Border Patrol: Careers with the Border Patrol. The Border
Patrol is part of the Immigration and Naturalization Service
of the U.S. Department of Justice. The Border Patrol seeks to
recruit over 1,800 agents in the year 2000 and is offering $2,000
signup bonuses for new hires.

Customs Service: Careers. Part of the U.S. Department of
the Treasury. Customs positions include Customs Inspectors, Canine
Enforcement Officers, and Criminal Investigators.

Marshals Service: Career Opportunities in the U.S. Marshals Service
. The Deputy U.S. Marshal written test closed to the general
public on June 27, 1997; it is tentatively scheduled to re-open
in 2003.

Park Police. Park police operate primarily in the Washington,
DC area.
- U.S.
Postal Inspection Service. Protects postal employees and
the mails and conducts criminal investigations of postal-related
offenses, including mail fraud, money laundering, mailing of
child pornography, embezzlement, and other crimes involving the
