Forensics
Criminalists perform scientific laboratory analyses directed toward recognition, identification, individualization and evaluation of physical evidence related to law enforcement investigations. Job requirements generally include a bachelor's or advanced degree in chemistry, biology, or a related natural or physical science. Fingerprint technicians examine and classify fingerprints according to professional standards. Job requirements may include college-level experience in a laboratory science and/or training through the FBI's fingerprint identification courses.
