Aboriginal Policing Directorate
Part of the Department of the Solicitor General of Canada, the directorate administers First Nations policing policy and provides national leadership regarding the delivery of policing services for aboriginal people off-reserve. The Directorate publishes the periodical First Nations Policing Update and has a number of other aboriginal policing documents available online.

  • Anishinabek Police Service. Provides police services to a population of approximately 10,000 in 19 First Nations communities in Ontario.
