Corrections Directorate
Part of the Department of the Solicitor General, the directorate provides advice and support to the Solicitor General in his roles with respect to the Correctional Service of Canada and the National Parole Board.

Correctional Service of Canada / Service correctionnel du Canada
Administers the sentences of offenders sentenced to two years or more imprisonment.

Makes independent conditional release and pardon decisions and clemency recommendations.
