Abstract:
This project examined the
characteristics of 1,383 sexual assault victimizations recorded by sexual
assault nurse examiners in Anchorage, Alaska from 1996 to 2004. The report
documents the demographic characteristics of patients, pre-assault characteristics,
assault characteristics, post-assault characteristics, exam characteristics
and findings, suspect characteristics, and legal resolutions.
