Abstract: Access to judical and law enforcement services in rural Alaska has been problematic since territorial days due to limited resources, vast geographical distances, lack of transportation routes, climate, and cultural diversity. This document provides a selected annotated bibliography of approximately 300 books, articles, reports, letters, agency records, diaries, films, and other documents that are directly or indirectly related to the problem of access to justice in rural Alaska.
