UAA Justice Center: Established in 1975, the Justice Center is an academic, research, and public education program serving the entire state of Alaska. The Justice Center undertakes research into justice concerns as they manifest themselves in Alaska. Areas of Center research have included crime and community, crime prevention, domestic violence, bush justice, juvenile justice, and the behavior of law; which focuses not on the criminal or the crime, but on the system's treatment of those who come before it.

Alaska Justice Statistical Analysis Center: The Alaska Justice Statistical Analysis Center is the Statistical Analysis Center (SAC) for Alaska under a program funded by the Bureau of Justice Statistics, U.S. Department of Justice. The SAC supports the mission of the Justice Center by acting as a clearinghouse for justice-related information, by forming a liaison with federal and state officials, and by conducting research on justice issues relevant to Alaska.

Municipality of Anchorage: Located in Southcentral Alaska on the shores of Cook Inlet, the Municipality of Anchorage is a unique urban environment situated in the heart of the wilderness.

Matanuska-Susitna Borough: The Matanuska Colony was founded in south-central Alaska in 1935. For the past 16 years, the Mat-Su Borough has been the fastest growing community in Alaska. In the nation, it ranked the 28th fastest growing county in 2005.

Kenai Peninsula Borough: Offering a unique cross section of life in Alaska, the Kenai Peninsula Borough offers both the truly 'wild' Alaskan experience and a more urban setting with all the amenities expected from a well developed community.

State of Alaska: Alaska has been deemed "The Last Frontier" because it is a place where wilderness can be seen in many forms. Alaska is home to more than half of the world's glaciers and the tallest mountain in North America. Alaska, the only state to have borders on three different seas, is one-third the size of the entire United States of America and is home to an abundance of wildlife.

University of Alaska Anchorage: The University of Alaska Anchorage inspires learning and enriches Alaska through teaching, research, creativity, and service. UAA is a comprehensive university that provides opportunities to all who can benefit from educational programs of high quality in an inclusive environment rich in diversity.

Anchorage Community Councils: The Federation of Community Councils provides a central location for access to individual community council websites, as well as information about the collective actions of Anchorage community councils.

National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership: The National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership (NNIP) is a collaborative effort by the Urban Institute and local partners to further the development and use of neighborhood-level information systems in local policymaking and community building.

U.S. Census Bureau: The Census Bureau serves as the leading source of quality data about the nation's people and economy. The sole purpose of the censuses and surveys is to collect general statistical information from individuals and establishments in order to compile statistics. In addition to taking a census of the population every 10 years, the Census Bureau conducts censuses of economic activity and state and local governments every five years. And every year, the Census Bureau conducts more than 100 other surveys.
