The 2005 Anchorage Community Survey (ACS) is a general population survey administered via telephone to approximately 2,500 adult Anchorage residents. Two research goals drive the ACS: (1) the systematic collection of data—which isn't available otherwise—that can be used to construct comprehensive descriptions of Anchorage communities, and (2) building a multi-disciplinary research platform for use by researchers, policy makers, and practitioners who are interested in exploring community contexts.
